I received a message today to say that the Christmas jumper I had on my wish list was back in stock at my local store. All this time travel has made me a funny shape, so I really wanted to try it on. Read on to find out what happened...
I received a message today to say that the Christmas jumper I had on my wish list was back in stock at my local store. All this time travel has made me a funny shape, so I really wanted to try it on. Read on to find out what happened...

As I walked through the store entrance, the security system recognised me straight away by my face and walk. My glasses guided me to the correct changing room and there it was! On the peg … all jingle-belly and sparkly … was my new Christmas jumper!

I tried it on and loved it soooooo much that I decided I wasn’t going to take it off until the New Year. I headed out of the changing room smiling with Christmas joy and covered in biodegradable glitter. As I walked through the exit, money was deducted automatically from my account. Shopping in 2030 is as easy as that.

In 2021, Amazon will begin opening checkout free stores in the UK. Nearly 30 Amazon Go stores already exist in the US and similar stores have been opened in China since 2016.
